I actually purchased this for mounting a surface planer. I was having issues with snipe and this cured most of it.
Good but not amazing
This is a decent miter stand. It fits my dewalt compound miter just ok. It sticks out a bit in the back. The sides rub when I flip it. I have tried readjusting buy loosening, adjusting, and re tightening the base bolts. Seems to be just a bit flimsy. The flip up side stands don’t line up with the miter saw very good. Wish they were wider and a bit more stable.

In fact I was thinking of buying one more for my T Planner. I will be adding a small fold down handles in the front so I can slide it away from the was easier.

I have very limited space. There is no hype in the advertising/product literature. Set up and used with my Makita sliding compound saw in 15 minutes. Well engineered and manufactured.
