Nice storage racks.
I bought two sets of these from Home Depot about three years ago to use as storage racks for my exotic woods. They are mounted two feet apart spanning eight feet. They work great. The reason for the four star is each rack level is nowhere close to exceeding the weight limit but arms have drooped and had to be repaired with a longer screw to position the arm back to the correct position. I did run out of room so I just purchased another set from Amazon and I mounted these two feet apart to hold my shorter boards and it works great!
Far surpasses my expectations
Wonderful product …. the quality of the rack (construction, finish) is top-notched. I just love the idea of customizing the bottom rack into a shelf with hooks to hang my power tools.
Good Solid Product
I bought this lumber rack on sale from Home Depot. It is a solid rack though a bit over priced, even on sale. There was a couple of issues with assembly. First, there are small sheet metal screws that you must install on the vertical bars to hold the horizontal pieces. These screws did not fit the hole drilled for them. They were very loose once installed – better screws or appropriately sized holes would be appreciated. In addition, there are spacers that you install between the wall and the vertical bars. The spacers are plastic. One of mine was broken when I took it out of the packaging (there was no damage to the box or the other spacers. Please supply better spacers. I do think that this item will last a long time and do the job it was designed for.
This is my second one. I love it!
My first was lost my shop burned down. As soon as my new shop was built, I purchased another. Essential for organizing and storing your wood. Easy assembly. Shippers tore the end of the box but I only lost the package of screws. Easy replacement. No complaints at all.
I’ve purchased 4 of the PBR-001 6-level wood rack
Very sturdy and supports all of my exotic woods. Easy install.
