Wonderful Mobile Base
The PM-3500 is a wonderful product. It is very easy to assemble and use. My 600 lb table saw glides on my garage floor. Thank you, Bora.
Yes
I use this base for a Fox 20″”, 800 pound planer and it works perfectly well.
Very solid base
Instructions are a bit thin. There is no instructions for installing the foot the foot lever activates (parts I, H, etc). That has to be done before step 1 or you will have to take the lever completely out to get the foot in. One of the holes for the foot lever plunger was out of round. I had to file it quite a bit to get the plunger to function. The other had a glob of paint I had to remove. The instructions do not show the placement of the washers. It’s fairly obvious, but you do have to think carefully about it before tightening down any of the bolts.
Nice base but….
I really like the base but the casters are not up to the task, they do not swivel correctly with the weight of my 20″” Jet planer on them. Bora did send me a replacement set but they are no better. Grizzly casters are much better.
This is my 2nd Review. Why??
Yes, this is my 2nd Review. My 1st was a 1* Review, about 10 days ago. I believe to do fair justice I owe BORA this. Like I said this product is a massive strength cart, but the casters were a serious down issue for the purpose of this product. However, after BORA read the Review, they took action right away (without contacting me) and ordered a new set of casters. In a matter of a few days I had the new casters, installed them and all my issues were taken care of. Hence, this second Review. I liked the product that why I bought in the first place. Now I like the Company. I highly recommend BORA and I will be back for other purchases. THIS IS THE AMERICAN WAY.
